Tod Papageorge: Passing Through Eden

Central Park, 1979 Central Park, 1989 Central Park, 1982 Central Park, 1969

'Passing Through Eden' is a collection of photographs documenting New York's Central Park between the mid 1960's and 1992. The images capture moments in the lives of the park's visitors as they relax and play; they also capture love, humour and solitude.

The work of Tod Papageorge is curated by the Pace/MacGill Gallery in New York. You can read an interview with him at art blog BombSite.
