Paula Scher

Paula Scher is an eminent graphic designer and artist; she previously worked as an art director for Time Magazine and more recently became a partner at Pentagram New York.

As an artist, her best-known works are these large scale acrylic paintings of maps, decorated with the names of towns and cities and coloured according to Scher's association with the places, both cultural and personal.
