I've always loved the way that Japanese game designers completely disregard reality when it comes to their graphic style and game play. After all, why limit yourself to emulating reality when you're designing for a make-believe world?
Ninja Honda Karate for the iPhone/iPod looks absolutely insane; it reminds me of the old Parodius games for the Super Nintendo.
