I've mentioned Hubert Blanz before, and I wanted to post about some of the other work I found while browsing his web site.

A lot of Blanz's pieces turn lifeless sections of engineered infrastructure into almost organic forms. X-Plantation is a series made entirely from imagery found on the internet and in online mapping services; airstrips and tarmac stripped of their context, in these confusing but beautiful collages.
