Granta

I've been reading a lot of Granta recently; it's a quarterly book/magazine filled with great writing on a variety of subjects. In addition to this, it's well designed, nicely laid out and features some great covers - the latest (above left) is by Chris Ware.

The new edition (108) is the 'Chicago' issue, “celebrating the city of Chicago, a cultural and artistic hub and home to some of the world’s greatest writers and thinkers.” You can read extracts and articles from this and past issues, as well as exclusive online content, at the Granta web site.
