Damien Sivier's 33 Horizons is a series of images taken around the border of land-locked Switzerland; originally intended to capture a sense of isolation, they ended up portraying something different—possibilities.

The horizon is an image used in many metaphors; it can represent birth, death, potential, hope, uncertainty. I like the way these pictures provoke the imagination and make you think about what may lie just beyond sight. You can view the full series here.
