Anatoly Zenkov: Mouse Tracking
I'd seen the images above earlier this week, but I just found out how they were made: fascinating stuff.
Anatoly Zenkov produces these mind-boggling screen captures by tracking the movements, clicks and drags of his computer mouse as he works. The movements are then captured using a Java applet based on Processing, which outputs the final image. Take a look at this Flickr thread for more images and information.
Update 26/02/2010: The mouse tracking software has been updated and is now called IOGraph.
